Stephanie Scharf started conducting research on women in law in 2006 when she founded the National Association of Women Lawyers (NAWL) Annual Survey on the Retention and Promotion of Women in Law Firms. She has since designed and co-authored: Walking Out the Door: The Facts, Figures, and Future of Experienced Women Lawyers in Private Practice, First Chairs at Trial: More Women Need Seats at the Table, and Practicing Law in the Pandemic and Moving Forward.
