Laura’s areas of expertise include strategic organizational planning and development, talent management, succession planning, executive coaching and leadership development, and creating diversity and inclusion programs to promote cultural diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
Her background spans multiple industries, including financial services, healthcare, retail, environmental services with revenues ranging from $30 MM- $7 B. Laura has held executive leadership roles as Vice President of Human Resources for 3 Hospitals at HCA (the largest for-profit hospital system in the country), Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Chief Human Resource Officer at Fortegra Financial, Vice President of Human Resources at Winn-Dixie Stores (a fortune 100 company), Vice President of Human Resources & Talent Acquisition at Safety-Kleen and Vice President of Human Resources at Buesing Corp. She has also owned her own retained search and HR consulting firm. In her most recent role, Laura became the Chief Operating Officer of a commercial landscape and construction company after a 3-year consulting assignment with the client. She is currently doing consulting and executive coaching with various clients.
Laura holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, is a Certified Facilitator in Emotional Intelligence EQi2.0, EQ360 and EQ Leadership and also has her certification in Strategic Human Resource Planning from Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
